Dr. Myriam Garland

Dr. Garland is the head pediatrician at our Pediatric Clinic in Surry County. Dr. Garland always knew she wanted to work with children that are the most in-need and loves the vision of HCCH where no patient is left behind; thus, she joined HCCH in August 2022 and has enjoyed helping patients in Surry County. Dr. Garland graduated Cum Laude in Biology from the University of Florida, then pursued a medical degree at Florida Atlantic University. She completed her pediatric training at the University of Louisville in Kentucky with a particular interest in preventative care.

Dr. Garland is also fully bilingual in Spanish and English as she is originally from Colombia. In her spare time, Dr. Garland likes to spend time with her husband and son, go to church, read, and crochet.
