Ms. Brooke is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), specializing in pediatric mental and behavioral health from birth through 21 years old. She has 23 years of experience in pediatric mental
health serving different roles, including Case Manager, Group Home Consultant for at-risk youth, and
Intensive In-Home Team Leader for two different organizations. She has a passion for children who have Autism and Attention Difficulties and loves working with “the littles” (ages 3-5).
Ms. Brooke works to support the parents and their families as well. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and accredited in “Positive Parenting Program’s Primary Care children, teenagers, and Stepping Stones (IDD)”. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Appalachian State in 2002 and graduated with honors with a Master’s in Arts in Community Counseling from Appalachian State University in 2006.
Ms. Brooke enjoys laughing, singing, dancing, going fishing, volunteering in the community, and playing with animals. Her happy place is the beach (preferably Wrightsville or Carolina) and she loves to Reece’s peanut butter cups and Mexican food.
