Rachel Goossens

Rachel Goossens began her career in healthcare as a CNA in 2013 working in Labor and Delivery in a hospital setting. She continued to Lenoir Rhyne University where she completed her BSN and worked in both Labor and Delivery and the Emergency Department. In 2021 Rachel completed her MSN at Walden University and began her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Joining High Country Community Health in 2022 was an easy decision for Rachel as she has always felt a calling to provide quality patient care while working to eliminate barriers to healthcare within our community. In her time off, Rachel enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, family, friends, and pets.
