Jacob Chasteen

Jacob Chasteen is a primary care Physician Assistant at High Country Community Health and sees patients at the Watauga Medical office in Boone. The North Carolina native graduated summa cum laude from Appalachian State University while playing for the ASU men's soccer team. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He previously practiced in Jacksonville, Florida as a family practice PA before moving back to his hometown here in Boone, NC.

When he is not working, Jacob enjoys sports, motorcycling, fitness training and enjoying the great outdoors.
