Dr. Cordelia Stearns
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Cordelia Stearns graduated summa cum laude from Bryn Mawr College, and was a 21st Century Merit Scholar at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where she received the Spencer Morris Prize for highest academic achievement in her class. She completed internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco with a focus in health equity and advocacy, and is a board certified internist and HIV specialist. She has experience in residency program leadership as well as both hospital based and primary care practice. She was thrilled to join HCCH in 2022, and is deeply committed to the mission of providing high quality, equitable, patient centered care to everyone in our community. When she's not at work, Dr. Stearns enjoys cooking and baking, chasing her dog and toddler around, and exploring her new hometown with her family.
