Sara Clark

Medication Assisted Treatment Coordinator

Sara Clark is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. She provides clinical services to both medical and MAT patients and oversees the MAT program in Watauga and Avery Counties. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada with a double major in Criminology and Human Rights. After that, she completed a Master of Social Work degree and a Graduate Certificate in Addiction Counseling at Appalachian State University.


Sara Clark started at High Country Community Health as an MSW intern and then came on board as a full-time employee in 2021. In her spare time, she likes to go to yoga, read and spend time with friends.
