Jacob Yarber

Licensed Clinical Social Worker associate and Behavioral Health Provider

Jacob is a Behavioral Health Specialist at High Country Community Health and sees patients at the Watauga Medical Clinic. He received his undergraduate degree in clinical psychology from East Tennessee State University in 2019 and later obtained his Master of Social Work degree from the same institution. During graduate school, he provided clinical behavioral health services to patients at the ETSU Nave Center for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.

Jacob is passionate about offering a person-centered approach and utilizing values-committed action, particularly in the face of adversity. He also strives to create a collaborative and judgment-free environment for his patients during sessions. Additionally, he has received training in incorporating evidence-based interventions.


In his free time, Jacob enjoys reading, spending time with friends, traveling, and attending the theatre.
